The Chinese tenor Long Long is one of the most promising lyric tenors of his generation. He graduated from the Shanghai Music Academy and the University Opera Research Institute in Beijing. He was a winner in the 2016 Grand Prix de l’Opera in Bucharest, and was subsequently invited to study at the Accademia del Maggio Musicale in Florence. In the same year he was able to further his musical and theatrical studies at the Georg Solti Accademia in Italy. Long Long received much praise, both for winning the Giovani Voci Verdiane competition in Busseto in 2017 and as a finalist in Operalia 2018 in Lisbon. In 2019 he was the first prize-winner at the International Music Competition in Harbin, third prizewinner at the Tenor Vinas Competition in Barcelona and at the Moniuszko Vocal Competition in Warsaw he again won third prize as well as five special prizes. Furthermore he was selected for participation in the competition Neue Stimmen in Gütersloh.
